Ann Halepaska started Halepaska's Bakery in 1953. She had a love
for baking and 8 children who appreciated her talent. She would bake
cakes to donate to the church festival. Soon, people in the area began asking
her
to bake for their special occasion.
This was the beginning of Halepaska’s Fine
Cakes.
Working by herself, baking cakes one at a time, she soon developed a
going business that was respected through out the Crossroads area for
its quality. With the business growing the Halepaska’s had to build an addition onto
their old homestead. Many
people in the Victoria area still remember those humble beginnings.
That tradition of excellence continues today. Halepaska’s Bakery offers
the FINEST QUALITY baked goods made from the freshest ingredients.
